Cynthia Trasi is the President of Bradford Theosophical Society, a National Lecturer for the Theosophical Society in England and a student of esotericism for a number of years.

'The Lotus of the Soul'

The Soul or Higher Self is commonly symbolised as a Lotus-like structure. This talk outlines ways in which we may unfold the petals of the Lotus of the Soul and of the various challenges which confront us here as we awaken to the intents and purposes of our spiritual essence and tread the spiritual path. The talk utilises the classical teachings of Ancient Wisdom, Advaita Vedanta and the symbolism found within various Classical Myths as a means of illustration.

Gary Kidgell is a member of Dundee Theosophical Society, the Organising Secretary of The Theosophical Society in Scotland and a National Lecturer for the Theosophical Society in England. 'The Search for Truth'

The motto of the Theosophical Society is ‘There is No Religion Greater than Truth’. Truth (Sat) is the very nature of existence and to live in accordance with the Laws of Nature is Man’s duty. The Sages of Ancient India proclaimed “Satyam Vada, Dharmam Chara” (“Speak the Truth and follow the Path of Righteousness”). The talk looks at what is Truth and the nature of the Search for truth.

Bhupendra is currently a member of the General Council of the International Theosophical Society at Adyar, India. He has been writing regularly for ‘The Theosophist’ magazine and also for Theosophical Journals around the world. Bhupendra is the author of ‘Healing the Planet’, showcasing a collection of his talks and articles. Bhupendra gave the prestigious Blavatsky Lecture, 'The Bodhisattva Path' at the Theosophical Summer School in 2011 at Bristol University. He is a very popular speaker having given lectures all over the world.

Susan Bayliss is a member of Bradford Theosophical Society, the Director of the Foundation for Theosophical Studies since 1994. Susan has been actively involved in the esoteric movement for 30 years giving talks and workshops across the country since the 1980s. She joined the Theosophical Society in England in 1982, serving on the Executive since 1994 and National Secretary since 2006. She is a Holistic therapist and a Yoga practitioner.
